A new chapter: Love Here
I arrived to Singapore at 6am. Excited and pseudo exhausted due to that weird off and on sleeping caused by sitting in a dark plane seat for 14 hours.
Some of you have probably put together that there's a glimmer of something interesting happening in my life again, besides the consistency that I tried to build over the past 9 years, when I moved to New Orleans. I have the great opportunity to re-visit a country that exposed me to the riches of life and the agony of seeing lives filled with depression and hopelessness when there's so much to be thankful for.
Today, is the beginning of yet another new journey. As much as I hate that my marriage ended last fall, the process has helped me grow in love even though it's such a painful and seemingly un-loving act. I am in Singapore, for a brief stint before I head to Indonesia, where I have an artist residency with Learn To Live Global. I will be photographing, capturing stories, and learning. I have some sense of what may happen, but I'm trying to be flexible to what story needs to be told from the life of the people I meet, and get inspired by.
I look forward to getting to share with you as things develop.
Love Here, Love Always
